Montreal held its second protest in solidarity with Lebanon at Dorchester Square today from 2 till 4PM. Over 1000 people filled up the square chanting slogans against the government and dancing to Dabke tunes. Someone even got a tire but they didn’t burn it obviously 😜.
There was another protest in Laval as well earlier today and tens of protests across North America. It’s been ten days now since the revolution started and it’s still going strong! We’re making history and even though I’m witnessing it from a distance, it still feels great.
