There’s an unofficial user-fed website called [covidecolesquebec] tracking the number of positive COVID-19 cases in schools. Parents, teachers, service center employees can submit cases of positive COVID in their respective schools, and they will all be appended into an interactive map.
So far, there are 227 schools with at least 1 confirmed case of COVID-19. In the mean time, Quebec government has decided to suspend for now its daily updates on the number of schools in the province with COVID-19 cases, citing the need to do some adjustments.
All in all, I think the back-to-school plan has been going relatively well so far, with daily cases increasing at a rather slow rate and school COVID-19 cases being isolated. Needless to say, we all need to stay vigilant, wear our masks, avoid crowded places and stick to social distancing when possible.
